To inform the legislature, the State Board of Education and other appropriate agencies of the concerns and needs of the association so as to positively impact legislation, rules, regulations, an policies.
 

To support rural communities by formulating and promoting plans, proposals, professional development and curricula.
 

To develop a data base through research and the compilation of existing data source
 

To inform and solicit the support of the membership in promoting the goals of the organization.
 

To coordinate activities with other professional organizations, and
